The Swiss bank is highlighting the craft of couture, alongside horology and gastronomy, with a series of global events taking place in the US and Asia throughout the year, including Icons of Time, an exhibition of twelve extraordinary timepieces curated by Ben Clymer, founder and president of Hodinkee in New York City, 8 to 10 October.

The Singapore’s exhibition explores the legacy, technique, innovation and future of couture, curated with Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris and one of fashion’s most influential voices.

The event looks at defining eras of the House of Dior – from the visionary Christian Dior to the six artistic directors who have since shaped its legacy: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri. The Magnificent Seven, plus a special tribute to Kim Jones.

At the heart of the programme is a groundbreaking photographic exhibition conceived and created by artist Brigitte Niedermair, who herself has a 12-year-long relationship with the house of Dior. 

Dior opened its archive to UBS House of Craft for fashion legend Carine Roitfeld and photographer Brigitte Niedermair to select looks that honour Dior’s eight decades of leadership.

UBS House of Craft x Dior will open to the public on 21 to 23 November at the New Art Museum Singapore, located near the Asian city-state’s Central Business District.
